Patrick Galentine is one of the founding Principals of Kensington Real Estate Group, as well as Coreland Companies, a real estate services firm. As President of Kensington, his primary responsibilities include strategic planning, acquisition and dispositions; procuring equity and debt financing; and oversight of asset management and leasing plans for commercial property owners.
Throughout his career Mr. Galentine has directed the management of over 500 million square feet of commercial property throughout the Western United States. In addition, as a state court receiver, he specializes in rents and profits receiverships of distressed commercial real estate properties throughout California. He has been appointed and associated with hundreds of receivership matters over the past 25 years. Many of his appointments involve complex real estate activities, as well as conflict resolution, including receivership sales, development completion, construction defect solutions, major lease negotiation, forensic accounting, bankruptcy and custodial appointments.
Prior to forming Coreland Companies in 1990, Mr. Galentine was the controller for a retail shopping center investment group, with responsibilities including all financial activities, asset management and operations for a five-million-square-foot portfolio of Southern California retail properties.
Mr. Galentine possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Investments from the University of Southern California and holds a California Department of Real Estate Broker license. He is a former board member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) Orange County Advisory Board, and the former Southern California Operations Chairman for the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Mr. Galentine is active in a variety of charitable organizations in Southern California.
