Sprouts Opens at Fairfield Commons, Exceeds Opening Day Projections
LAKEWOOD, COLO. – A new 27,000-square-foot Sprouts Farmers Market opened at Lakewood’s Fairfield Commons in January, exceeding opening day projections. The popular natural foods store is the specialty grocer’s 19th store within the greater Denver metro area.
Fairfield Commons, a community shopping center owned and operated by Kensington Real Estate Group, has recently undergone various upgrades to enhance the tenant mix. The integration of Spouts increased the center’s GLA to 144,000 square feet. In addition, a 20,000-square-foot Planet Fitness was welcomed last year and has also exceeded performance expectations since opening.
Positioned along one of Denver’s major retail corridors, Fairfield Commons is also home to TJ Maxx, Chili’s, Starbucks, CitiFinancial, Rue21 and Black-Eyed Pea, as well as a number of well-established local retailers.
